kindergarten vs. college

kaleb bought me rock climbing shoes and they make me feel like i’m living in the time of chinese footbinding. i’m excited.

this has been a rocky week. our music department chair, dr kimo smith, has been in the hospital with a high fever and a rare infection that could have potentially taken his leg, or worse. he’s stable now, still in very critical condition, but with improvements.
it’s going to be a long process. we’re all still praying.
