You have no idea what’s about to hit you.
John Legend - “Rolling In The Deep” (Adele cover)
It just keeps getting better and better.
They just brought me a slice of tiramisu.
I have been craving it all week.
Tonight I cuffed up my jeans and walked barefoot through the rain.
I asked Carolyn from Hey Pretty Thing for some good San Francisco sights and eats; here’s her reply. I’m definitely excited now.
“Happy anniversary! :) If you guys have a car, the 17-mile Pebble Beach drive is scenic on your way to Monterey where you guys could check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium, you can dine at Phil’s Fish Market on the way back. Driving to Napa Valley for wine tasting and dinner (Angèle along the Napa River is delicious) would be a fun anniversary idea too. In SF, you guys could go to Twin Peaks at night, has a view of all the city lights. During the day, Palace of Fine Arts is gorgeous and a nice stroll from around the beachfront marina. California Academy of Sciences is really fun if you like aquariums, etc. (I loved it.) Food: Sycamore and Brenda’s have good brunches. Tartine Bakery is yummy and Bi-Rite Creamery has amazing ice cream, they’re close to each other and you guys can walk over to Dolores Park to eat. Humphry Slocombe has beer ice cream. Wayfare Tavern is a yummy gastropub, Commonwealth has beautiful food, The House is delicious, Cha Cha Cha is fun and has pitchers of sangria. Agave is a good tequila bar, DNA Lounge in the Mission is a chill club for some dancin. Blue Bottle, Cento, and Philz Coffee are great for coffee. Ike’s Place for awesome sandwiches. El Farolito for late night Mexican. In-n-Out. Katana-Ya for ramen, Pot de Pho has ahi tuna pho. Shopping: Union Square, Union St (LF Stores, Marc by Marc Jacobs is around on Fillmore), Hayes (Acrimony, Azalea, and a cute macaron shop is nearby called Paulette). A lot to do in SF, hope this helped! Have a fun trip!”
Yes ma’am.
- D: I always sneeze after I take Nyquil.
- F: Have you ever taken Nyquil not sick? To see if you don't sneeze?
- A: What's Nyquil-not-sick?
- M: Alcoholic.
maggie and milly and molly and may
went down to the beach(to play one day)
and maggie discovered a shell that sang
so sweetly she couldn’t remember her troubles, and
milly befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;
and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles:and
may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone.
For whatever we lose(like a you or a me)
It’s always ourselves we find in the sea.
